Job Description

Requirement:

8+ years of financial technology experience, with strong solutioning, architecture/technical background.
3+ years’ Experience in capturing business requirements for building a Listed and OTC Products Position and Transaction Master Application covering TradeCapture, Trade Lifecycle, Integration with Pricing Models, Clearing, Settlement systems.
3+ years’ Experience with Trade Life Cycle for listed and OTC product events such as Trade Booking/Management, Various Corporate Actions, Unwind, Rate Reset or Fixing Process, Realized Cashflows.
3+ years’ Experience with end-to-end trade workflows among the Front, Middle and Back Offices systems.
3+ years’ experience with databases such as SQL Server, with ability to create and run queries independently.
Familiar with Jira, Confluence delivery tracking and documentation software.
Experience with FIX protocol or integration with Order/Execution Management
Systems is an asset.
Advanced Knowledge of derivative financial instruments such as Interest Rate Swap, Equity Total Swaps, Equity Options, Equities and Bonds is an asset.
Familiarity with messaging bus technologies is an asset (e.g. Apache Kafka).
Experience with near-real time systems in the capital markets space is an asset.
Proficient with Python or other scripting languages
Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and standards, with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver working results.
Experience with data flow, sequence diagramming, other software diagramming models is an asset.
Delivery management in agile environment (i.e. prioritization, planning, managing, dealing with disruptions) is a bonus.
